Sim Yong Chan is a litigation and arbitration lawyer, but is also an excellent deal initiator and negotiator in respect of the merger and acquisition transactions involving the firm. His experience as a businessman prior to his present vocation as a lawyer stands him in good stead in advising on the dynamics of a deal and in signing up the interests of the parties. He is an independent director of Sinopipe Holdings Ltd, a company listed in the SGX amongst other directorships he holds.
